Textbook or Workbook

Do you use a textbook or workbook to design your life?

Do you add more materials as you go through life?

Are you reactive in your life or do you have a purpose or mission you are working on?

Why or why not?

If you are reactive in your life, should you change that?

How do you change something?

Does Your Life Really Matter?

Your Life Really Does Matter.

This is why.

Take out a piece of paper.

Go now – do it.

Get a pen.

Got one?

Now.

Think about what will happen for others and the world if you achieve your goals.

Realize right now, that once you achieve your goals, everything will change.

Not only for you, but for the entire world.

If your goal is to get a million dollars. Think about how many lives you will affect when you achieve that goal.

How many homeless people can you provide shelter to?

How many hungry people can you feed?

How many naked people can you clothe?

How many people can you aid?

Consider the impact you will have on the world and for people through generations.

You have inside of you the potential to contribute and impact our world.

Is history going to remember you?

Are you going to be a footnote in history?

Are you going to be a paragraph in history?

Will there be a chapter on you in history?

Will someone write a book about you…?

Or, will many people write many books about you?

The answers to those questions are entirely up to you.

You choose.

You decide.

What are you doing with your life?

Everything is a Test

Everything is a Test

– Jay Abraham

As you create your life, Jay Abraham suggests that you approach each change you make as a test.

Why do you think that is?

If things don’t work in the “real world” the way you thing that they should, is that a problem with the “real world” or is it a problem with your approach? Can you change the “real world”?

Can you change your approach?

Which is the easier change to make?

If only 1/5th of the things you try to do will work, shouldn’t you take action quickly to find the 1 out of 5 that will work so you can “succeed”?

What is success anyway?

Have you succeeded yet?

By the way, the year is half over.

How are those 2017 goals and new years resolutions coming along?

Is there a point to all of this?

Why go through the process of change?

Are you happy where you are?

Will achieving something different make you happy (or happier)? Why or why not?

What else should you be doing that you’re not doing right now?

What action should you be taking?

What is the next step?

Do that now.

mental block

jeremy eveland mental block

We have a mental block inside us that stops us from earning more than we think we are worth. If we want to earn more in reality, we have to upgrade our self-concept. – Brian Tracy

Imagine for a moment that you could have — be — or do — anything. That’s right. Imagine that it’s real.

Imagine that you could have it all.

Be it all.

Do it all.

Whatever you wanted.

Now, open your eyes.

You are in that position now.

You can create the life you want.

It does not matter who or what or where you are.

Each of us can climb out of where we are and become something more.

Do something more.

Have something more.

Be something more.

It’s true.

The past doesn’t matter — what does matter is what you’re going to do with what is before you.

You can do it.

Whatever it is. You can.

There is a way.

Find the way.

Make the way.

Build the way.

and surprisingly.

It is entirely up to you.

not me.

not someone else.

not anyone else.

Only you.

You choose.

So make a good choice. No. I take that back. Make the best choices you possibly can for you.

And you might be surprised what you can accomplish.

Now, get to work.

Attitude of Gratitude

jeremy eveland seo expert

“An attitude of gratitude enriches you in many ways” – Brian Tracy

How important is it to be grateful?

It’s extremely important to be grateful for what you have. I have a family of friends. These friends have in their house a quote or saying above the front door to their house.

It reads something like this:

Lawyer Alan Stewart Launches New Website

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) March 22, 2013

Mr. Alan R. Stewart Attorney in Salt Lake City Utah has announced the launch of his website http://www.alanrstewart.com. Having a website is a must these days; no matter what one's profession is. Stewart is excited for how this website will help his clients.

I do believe that they will find it more convenient to reach me with a few clicks, even if it is in the middle of the night said Mr. Stewart. Alan Stewart has an amazing record of success in helping others get justice. Now he is looking to...

What if you woke up tomorrow morning with only those things that you thanked God for last night?

Crazy to think about, right?

We ought to be more thankful.

I ought to be more thankful.

There is always something that we should be thankful for.

Get in Early

Jeremy Eveland Get Up Early

Winners get there early, they work late, they work through their lunch hour, they work through their coffee breaks, they work in the evenings, they study on the weekends, they take extra courses. Winners are absolutely determined to win, and they are willing to pay the price.” – Brian Tracy

Think about that quote for a minute.

It take effort to win in life.

Even if you put forth the effort, life can still kick you down.

Even if you do everything that Brian Tracy talks about here, you still might not succeed in the financial sense. You may, but you may not. You can’t predict the future. You don’t know if your boss will fire you. You can’t control the president of the United States or Russia or any other country.

Right now there is turmoil in the world. Threats and statements made against others. It’s easy to get caught up in that. It’s also just as easy to ignore it and put your blinders on and start getting to work.

If your shift starts at 8am, why aren’t you showing up at 7am?

If you are in the accounting industry, what prevents you from taking night classes to further your education?

If you want to win and get ahead in life, you’ve got to put in the effort.

It is not easy.

If success were easy, everyone would be doing it – right?

Then there would be no point in giving it your all.

So, do your best – give it your all – become now the person you desire to be.

Best of luck to you.

Adversity

jeremy eveland adversity

“The quality of your entire personality is affected by how you deal with adversity, how well you keep your chin up.” – Brian Tracy

When I was a kid, I was told by someone that adversity is like fertilizer – it stinks but it helps us grow.

There is truth in that.

There is a lot that people go through in their lives.

Many know that Lincoln failed many times before he became president of the United States. Many know that the most successful people had multiple failures. I, myself, have failed more than I cared to admit. But at some point, you have to pick yourself up and take that failure and learn from it.

Then, when adversity comes (and it will surely come), you grin, put your head down, and go for what it is your want. Because there is no way you can live with yourself and be happy if you don’t push forward through the adversity.

It’s like the plant just starting to grow from a seed. It’s got to push it’s way out of the ground and catch that sunlight to engage in photosynthesis to grow and develop. The same is true for us. We must grow. We must grow through adversity to become who we need to be.

And for all of us, the process does not stop.

It goes on.

When you are ready to grow, call me.

We’ll grow together.

Listen

“It is very hard for people to resist someone who is listening to them closely, nodding and smiling and showing obvious interest in what they have to say.” – Brian Tracy

You know, of all the experiences in life, when it comes to success, I always go back to the class I took in High School called “Strategy” – it was taught by Mr. Wendt. Mr. Wendt taught us about success – how to make it on our own, how to be responsible, how to eat healthy, how to budget, how to think like a winner. Of all the classes, his has stuck with me the most. I remember he has us read a book See you at the Top by Zig Ziglar. It had alot of motivational stuff in it, but it seemed to ring true to me. Living a successful authentic life seemed right.

Now, more than 20+ years later, I find myself thinking about the things he taught. Simple things like this quote above. Actually listening to others instead of pretending to listen to them. Smiling because you like them and listening because you really want to hear them.

That’s not just good advise for sales or success – it’s good advise for being a decent and authentic human being.

We are the way we are because that is who we truly want to be. If we wanted to be any different, we would be in the process of changing right now.

Enjoy each days as if it is your last because one day, it will be.

“Learn to love your work and commit yourself to becoming outstanding in your field” – Brian Tracy

This is what the original Walt Disney Business Plan looked like:

Original Walt Disney Business Plan

Now, I’m going to be very honest with you – I look at this and I do not understand it at first glance.

Then, the more I looked at this, the more it made sense.

Nearly everything ties back to the other.

Look at how he has multiple sources of income.

TV, leads to music, which leads to films, which leads to merchandise licensing, which leads to Disneyland, which leads to art sales, which leads to comic strips, and round and round it goes.

It begins with a character and it goes to stories, and it goes on top of each other making money.

Genius.

Right?

Information Overload

In the world we live in right here, right now, things change and move quickly. With change we must be able to act quickly or we are left behind.

Do things change quickly for you or slowly?

Is there an abundance of opportunity for you?

Is there too much information out there?

If you want to accomplish something, how many different ways are there?

Is opportunity everywhere?

If its everywhere, does that contribute to your information overload?

Is there a way to slim down the information so you don’t get overwhelmed and immobilized?

When I have experienced overwhelm, it has been because I try to do too much at the same time. When I take each task, one at a time, and move in sequence, I can accomplish much and I do not have overwhelm.

One step at a time.

First step first.

Second step second.

And continuing until each step is done.

Does this approach help you?

How does it help?

Why does it help?

Are you willing to suspend your unbelief and take action?

It is in the action that the rewards are received.

You will become different from the actions you take.

Jeremy Eveland Review

Just in case people out there are wondering what others say about me, I thought it would be good to post a very recent review. This is a review by a former client that I no longer represent. In fact, I started working on this case many years ago and their case has been closed for some time. Yet, here I get this 5 star review on March 30, 2017.

Read it yourself:

“Legal financial problems are frightening, embarrassing, and confusing. We needed to work with someone who understood every aspect of the law, but who also appreciated how it felt to be a consumer in the position we were in. We are beyond grateful to have found Jeremy Eveland and to work with this firm. Everyone we talked to was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. There was no time wasted (no frivolous legal billing), and plenty of considerate explanations and direction. Even after our discharge, Jeremy continues to provide us with exemplary service. We wish he practiced every aspect of all law because we don’t want to have to go anywhere else with regard to legal matters! These guys are really the best.” – Heidi B.

The truth is, Heidi and her family are great people. They are a pleasure to serve. I’m really nobody important and nothing in the grand scheme of things. But one thing is true: I like helping people, and I am glad I could help Heidi and her family.

All I can say is: Thank you for your kind and gracious words. They reflect more on how good of person you are than I am.

Oregon Bankruptcy Attorney Launches National Non-Profit Website/Law Firm To Help Seniors

Portland, OR (PRWEB) January 29, 2012

For over 30 years, Eric Olsen has been a successful bankruptcy attorney in the Pacific Northwest. The firm he founded, OlsenDaines, can be found throughout Oregon and the states of Washington, Idaho and Utah. Year after year, he witnessed lots of creditor abuse towards senior citizens and decided to do something about it. Mr. Olsen has now organized and formed, HELPS Nonprofit Law Firm. HELPS, an acronym for Help Eliminate Legal Problems for Seniors and Disabled, was designed to provide legal representation at an absolute minimal cost to any seniors (including poor senior citizens) harassed by creditors, for debts they cannot pay. This, without having to file a bankruptcy. It is available in all 50 states. The exact website address is:

helpsishere.org

According to Mr. Olsen there are over 40 million seniors in the United States and many of these seniors have retired owing debt they cannot pay. Under the law, Mr. Olsen explains, social security, disability and pensions are protected from collection. Nevertheless, seniors are frequently harassed by creditors and go without basic needs such as food, medicine and heat in an attempt to pay debt they can never pay off. Since the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 2005, bankruptcy has become very expensive. Mr. Olsen says, seniors are often faced with two options; deal with the harassment – or file a bankruptcy they cannot afford.

Now, for a minimal enrollment fee and a maintenance fee that is normally just $20 a month, HELPS Nonprofit Law Firm provides attorney protection. When a senior is represented by an attorney, under the law, contact from collectors by phone and mail must stop.

Its making a big difference in their lives. I want every senior citizen to know, this service is here for them. Now We never turn down a senior that qualifies. We are here to share the burden. These seniors now have a place to go for help.

The HELPS website features senior citizens sharing their real-life harassment experiences. These are stories that hit home with other seniors. We asked our clients if they would be willing to share their experience on video with others, Olsen explains. Many have this overwhelming desire to share their stories with others. They want other seniors to know that help is available, so they dont have to experience what they went through, before they found HELPS. The most common statement I hear is HELPS brought peace back into my life.

To be part of this unique service – go tohttp://www.helpsishere.orgfor easy enrollment. You'll be protected within minutes. Literally

Wasting Time

Wasting Time

Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.

From Ronald Reagan “The Notes” page 214.

Many of you know that from time to time I post a quote on my blog here. I’ve been going through the book called “The Notes” which is the published collection of notes that Ronald Reagan collected on 4″ x 6″ cards that he would regularly use in talks.

Personally, I loathe wasting time.

I find that I have to be doing something constantly.

I hate having nothing to do.

But I ran across this quote and it struck me as being true.

Everyone can get wound up and burned out.

That’s not good.

And when that happens, the best course of action is to waste a little time and get yourself back on track.

Sometimes you just need to have fun or do something wasteful to get back to normal.

Anyway, I saw this and I thought’d you enjoy it.

Hope that helps you in some form or fashion.

Thanks for visiting –

See you next time.

Sublimest Power

Sublimest Power

“It is not necessary for all men to be great in action; the greatest and sublimest power is often simple patience.”

– Ronald Reagan – “The Notes” p. 162.

Have you ever sat in a room and felt like you needed to talk. That you needed to be heard. That someone should respect you and you should be able to tell your story?

This is one of those things that most people feel in a group or social setting.

They feel like they need to talk to other people.

They want others to care about them.

However, sometimes, the most powerful person in the room is the one who does not have to speak.

It is the person who has simple patience.

They have sublime power.

Because they don’t “need” to talk.

They don’t “need” anything.

You may need something but they don’t.

So how do you cross over?

How do you become the type of person that no longer needs to talk or needs to talk in a group or be “known” – I know there are people who disagree with me, and they are entitled to do so.

I only think that we should be aware of what is nature or insecurity and what is power.

Think about it.

If you want to help create authentic sublime power in your life, you should call Jeremy Eveland. You may be suprised at what you soon discover.

Insights

You are the way you are because that’s the way you want to be. If you really wanted to be any different, you would be making a radical change right now.

How to do you find insights?

How do you do thinks that are not obvious to others?

How to you create changes in your life?

At this point, ask yourself how you’re doing on your new year’s resolutions.

Have you achieved your new year’s resolutions?

Why hasn’t the change “stuck”?

Are you now going to start complaining? Will someone give you sympathy for your complaint?

Will the sympathy make you feel better? Does your sympathizer’s reaction keep you trapped in your behaviors that you want to change?

Do you really want to change?

If you “really want” change – take massive action right now.

Now.

Not later.

Not in 5 mintues.

Not later tonight or tomorrow…

Right

Now.

Do you really want change?

Positive Expectancy

Jeremy Eveland

Positive Expectancy is something that I don’t think I’ve heard before. No one is talking about it (that I’m aware of).

Seems to me that most people are stuck in the “rat race” or another form of thinking that they avoid positive thinking because they don’t believe it will happen.

Norman Vincent Peale has passed away and no one has picked up that positive thinking preaching (that I know of).

But I read this quote from Brian Tracy – he said:

“Approach your life with an attitude of positive expectancy. Make the decision to remain calm, happy, and positive no matter what happens.”

I like that idea.

I like the idea that you can be happy by yourself, alone, with someone else, with a million others, or just a few.

I like the idea that all hell can break loose around you, and you can be like a winter’s morning – calm and screne.

I like the idea that nothing outside of you can alter or affect you. Period.

Unless you let it in.

I’d like to think that I am the only one who let’s in good things.

That everything negative I let go of and let it go.

I wish I was that way.

I am not that way – not completely.

But I want to be.

It takes time.

Patience.

Practice.

You can get there.

Try it today and let me know how it goes.

Foundation of Self Confidence

Jeremy Eveland Accomplish

The real foundation of self-confidence is living a life consistent with your innermost values and principles while thinking and acting in harmony with your highest aspirations. – Brian Tracy

Some people would read this quote and say, oh yeah, he’s talking about integrity. Well, kind of. Yes, you need to have integrity, but it would be so much more POWERFUL if you not only had integrity, but you moved higher. Became more.

Let me give an example.

You and I (and probably the whole world for that matter) believes that exercise and eating healthy is important for a long life. Yet, most people do not eat healthy. Most people do not exercise on a regular basis.

Why is that?

Why do people KNOW something yet not ACT on it.

This is why the idea that knowledge is power is bunk. You can know it all, but if you never act on the knowledge it doesn’t do anything for you.

My recommendation to you: take action.

Yes, learn all you can but act on what you learn.

Make sure that it is in harmony with your highest aspirations!
Make sure you know it is right.
How do you know? Test. Try it out. If it’s not, you’ll get feedback telling you “no.”

But for heaven’s sake, don’t waste your life watching T.V. or movies or netflix or whatever. Accomplish something great – you can do it! You are here to make a difference. Go and do it.

Fortune Teller

We are continually acting as our own fortune-tellers by the way we talk to ourselves about how we think things will turn out in our lives. – Brian Tracy

You and I both know that we need to have good conversations with ourselves.

Sometimes we all get down.

It’s not good.

Depression doesn’t work.

Life can be hard.

We need to look at the good in life and press forward.

We need to do more than has been done in the past.

We need to be better, think smarter, work harder.

… and then we explode because it is so hard.

Stop

For

A

Moment.

Breathe.

You got this.

You can do it.

One step at a time…

How do you eat an elephant?

One bite at a time.

Just do that one thing.

And when that is done, move to the next.

Don’t multi-task.

Just do the one thing.

Self confidence is the hinge upon which turns the gate of individual achievement. – Brian Tracy

Think about that … SELF CONFIDENCE.

Do you believe in yourself?

Becoming Great

Great men and women are those who absolutely believe that hey are put on earth to do something wonderful with their lives.

– Brian Tracy

Have you taken the time to decide who you are?

Who are you really?

Are you the person your parents wanted you to be or are you the person you want to be?

Who decides what you will do?

Who decides where you will go?

Is there, anyone other than you, that controls you?

You are in charge of you.

You decide what you will do with your life.

You decide whether you are going to be great or whether you are going to fail.

By your action.

By your own decisions.

You get to decide, regardless of everything else around you, who you will be.

It starts with a decision.

It starts with you deciding who you want to be.

Once the decision is made, then you must take action to accomplish it.

If you want to lose 10 pounds and you’ve made that decision, get to work.

If you want to be a millionaire and you’ve made that decision, get to work.

Whatever it is you can do it, the question is whether you really do want it or not.

And that, my friend, will be determined by what you do.

Snow, Lots of Snow…

snow day

I woke up this morning to snow.

Lots of snow.

I had the though cross my mind – I should go back to sleep. I don’t need to get on the treadmill and exercise. Then the though appeared in my mind – LAZY – and it occurred to me that I wanted to be anything but lazy.

So, even though it was a snow day. Even though I had the thought to get back in the warm bed and go back to sleep.

I put off that foolish notion and I got out of bed and hit the treadmill.

I’m glad I did.

Ups and Downs

ups and downs in life

You will have many ups and downs in life, but what is most importantis that you remain true to yourself. The starting point of developing a high level of self-confidence is to think through and decide upon your values. – Brian Tracy

Sometimes we hate it.

The ups and downs of life.

But the truth is – we would go bat-crazy if we didn’t have some type of variety or change going on.

When we are truly stagnate in life, we fail.

We must be climbing the mountain.

We must progress.

If we go back or sit still, we fail.

So, how are you moving forward?

Have you picked yourself up yet?

Have you taken responsibility for your life and moved forward?

What are you doing with your time?

Which mountain have you chosen to climb?

If you are in school, what are you doing when you’re not in school or studying?

If you have a job, what are you doing when you clock out?

Ups and downs come to us all.

No one is exempt (even if you think they are) —

The best thing about it, is what you DO with it.

Take it and run!

Now, stop reading this blog and do something great!

All great achievement begins with just 1 step. Take the step now.

Begin.

The Corpus Christi Wrongful Death Attorneys at Grossman Law Offices Re-launch Website to Reflect Changing Legal Landscape

Corpus Christi, TX (PRWEB) June 21, 2013

Due to the changing legal landscape in Corpus Christi, the personal injury attorneys at Grossman Law Offices have re-launched their website to reflect and convey up-to-date information.

Attorney Michael J. Fleming Joins Wendt Goss, P.C.

Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) September 26, 2012

Wendt Goss, P.C. welcomed Michael J. Fleming to the firm this month. Mr. Fleming is an experienced personal injury advocate. Like Wendt Goss, he is dedicated to helping accident victims recover financial compensation for injuries sustained because of someone elses carelessness of negligence. Before working at the firm, Mr. Fleming focused his legal efforts on helping victims of automobile, commercial trucking, premises liability electric shock, and breach of contract. Additionally, he has experienced working with bad faith claims against insurance companies and improper deductions against oil and gas producers. He has appeared...

For example, Corpus Christi has become a hub for shipping and transportation, and because of this, commercial accidents are on the rise. To reflect this shift, the new website boasts topical articles about the ramifications of more commercial vehicles, like 18-wheelers, on the road.

Corpus Christi wrongful death attorney Michael Grossman commented on the updated website, Because they are somewhat uncommon, many wrongly associate a trucking accident with a car accident. In reality, they are very different entities. So with this changing landscape in the Corpus Christi-area, we wanted the public to have relevant and directed information about these types of events.

The remodeled website does not only focus on commercial accidents however. With the summer season now here, tourism also increases in Corpus Christi. The unfortunate truth of this transition is that car accidents and drunken driving accidents increase as well.

Attorney Grossman continues, Its unfortunate, but in the span of over two decades practicing in the Corpus Christi-area, weve litigated several drunken driving accidents. While we certainly take an aggressive approach towards the driver, in Texas, a bar or restaurant can also share some of the culpability as well. This can be a foreign concept to some, so we took the opportunity with this redesign to educate our visitors on all the ramifications of these accidents.

Indeed this is apparent in the Drunk Driving Accidents section of the site, with articles on the liability of other entities beyond that of the drunken driver, drunk driving laws in Texas (as developed by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code), and what is legally required of licensed alcohol providers.

For more information on drunken driving accidents, trucking accidents, or the consequences of injuries sustained in a maritime accident, please refer to http://www.injurylawyerscorpuschristi.com.

Martin Luther King Day 2017

Martin Luther King Jr 2017

“The time is always right to do what is right.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

I love this quote from Martin Luther King Jr. The saying is true.

I know some might not agree with me, but I believe I know, in a small way, what it is like to be persecuted because of the color of one’s skin.

I am a white male. I grew up in a middle class family. Or, at least, I thought I was middle class. Looking back now, we were probably below middle class at times. My father struggled without work from time to time. Somehow we always made it through.

When I was 19 years old I served a mission for my church.

I lived in Mexico for nearly 2 years.

Attorneys.org Releases Expanded Attorney Directory and Attorney Search

During that 2 year period, I learned to speak Spanish.

I came to a point where I felt that I was Mexican. I did not see myself as different than those I lived with, lived around, and spoke with.

Then there came a moment when I realized I was being treated differently.

I hailed a taxi (as was the common practice) and I was quoted a higher fare than was normal.

I knew the fare was higher because I had been paying a lower fare for the same trip for some time.

I asked why the high price. I was told because I was a rich gringo.

Now, I was somewhat taken aback by this treatment because I felt just like the taxi driver. I felt as Mexican and one can feel. I took taxis and buses, I lived among them, I spoke their language, yet, because of the color of my skin (and perhaps my white shirt and tie), I was called a rich gringo.

I told him that I was his countryman and if I removed the tie, what the price would be. He lowered it to slightly above the normal fare.

Not being the best haggler, I accepted the offer and my companion and I boarded the taxi and were off to our destination.

I know this small example pales in comparison to how some others were treated throughout many years and generations. I hope never to perpetuate discrimination. I believe Martin Luther King Jr. did a good work. I believe the man he was named after, Martin Luther the reformer, did a good work as well.

We ought to remember them and we all ought to fight for what we believe to be true and right.

We are all equal. We ought to treat each other equally because we are.

I have thought of my experience in Mexico. It reminds me to be kinder to others.

Although I know I fall short, very short, I need to keep trying.

May you enjoy the successes that come to you for fighting for what you know is right.

Be Patient With Yourself

Stephen Covey once said:

“Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it’s holy ground. There’s no greater investment.”

Patience is difficult.

We all want to have results right here, right now.

We need to make changes. We can all mentor ourselves and make things better. We can do more and be more than before.

There is nothing more important than working on ourselves to make ourselves better.

Pick one area and make that better.

Then, move forward and upward.

Don’t quit.

You really can do it.

Good Listening

“People from every walk of life can dramatically increase their effectiveness by building the trust and rapport that only comes from good listening.” – Brian Tracy

I agree with this. I’ve been asked before about listening.

I hope that people think of Jeremy Eveland or they look at Jeremy Eveland Facebook page or consider the things I have said or done that they will think I am a good listener.

But the truth is, sometimes I’m not a good listener.

Sometimes, I find myself deep in thought and not able to see the other side.

I think that this behavior is handicapping.

I think I need to be a better listener.

I don’t know anyone, myself included, who can do better at listening.

I will do better today to listen to others. Show empathy and express love towards others.

I invite you to do the same.

We call can do it.

We all have it within ourselves to listen and understand rather than to judge and express disdain, hate, or anger.

If we can listen, truly listen, not just hear the words of others, we can show them that we care.

Do you care?

Living in Truth

“Living in truth means that you never stay in a situation that makes you unhappy or that you feel is wrong for you for any reason.” – Brian Tracy

Living in Truth can be difficult because we as human are complex beings. We aren’t like the mythical Vulcans from Star Trek. We don’t just think logically and take the logical choice each and every time. Our emotions regularly play a role in what we do, in addition to our culture and our moral values.

To live in truth as stated here can be difficult. For example, I have a friend who must see things through. He cannot start something without finishing it. So, even though it will make him unhappy, or tired, or frustrated, he still does it.

Does that mean that my friend is not living in truth?

I’m not sure.

What do you think?

Truly Honest Person

A truly honest person realizes that there is no such thing as something for nothing. There is no easy way to be successful. – Brian Tracy

Indeed, there are no short cuts.

Even though we want a short cut, there is only one true way to succeed – hard work and alot of it.

There is no silver bullet.

Even though we want a one-shot answer – there is no silver bullet to solve the problem you have. There are many different methods that can be employed to resolve the situation, but only a few will take action.

Will you take action?

When will do you do it?
